KGU's history is Kumamoto Gakuen University was built in 1942. Then, Kumamoto Gakuen University was language vocational school. In 1952 KGU moved to Ooe. And, Keiai kindergarten was established in 31st year of Showa. Department of economics was established by 1962. Kumamoto Gakuen University became sister school with 9 universities in America Montana in 57the year of Showa.Also, KGU became sister school with Oota University in Korea. University was changed university's name "Kumamoto Gakuen University".Department of welfare environment was established by 12th year of Heisei. And Department of Hospitarity managemant was established by 17th year of Heisei. Department of Reagal economics and Department of child home welfare were established by 18th year of Heisei.
