I chose this book because this book's picture are cute.There is a boy who lived in farm.There were horses, sheep's, dogs, cows. He lived in shed surround by flowers. He lived in the cold.

City's people were poor, everyone face was gloomy. One day, a man visited his house. He was a painter. He sold matches and shoestring. The boy painted flowers. He painted grapes. Outside, he goes up balcony, he painted trees. Also, he painted horses and shapes. In shed, he painted he hid a cat, tortoiseshell's cats and chicken. Also, he painted the sun.He painted sun's shine city's street.And he changed smile from sorrow.

I think the boy's pictures are exceptional because he saved people's pool by painted pictures. He is due to painted pictures on the wall, the town had dark, the town became light. I think a boy is exceptional painter. The town became light by a boy painted pictures, he did good.
